A simple idea with infinite potential

What if everyone
gave just one
day?

Throw your pebble in the pond. The ripple you start could become a wave you never imagined.

It started in a voting line

There I was, waiting to cast my vote, when the math hit me. Presidents get 100 days to prove themselves. What could I do in one? And then a darker thought followed.

On September 11, 2001, nineteen people managed to change the world. In the worst way. And I couldn't stop thinking about the reverse — if nineteen people with bad intentions could do that much damage, what could millions of people with good intentions accomplish?

"If 19 people can make the world spin in the wrong direction — how many do we need to spin it back?"

The math is almost embarrassingly simple. One person. One day. One act of service. Not a career. Not a commitment. Just one day. Now multiply that by everyone in your company. Your city. Your country.

That's the idea. That's all it ever was. And it's still waiting to be tested at scale.

You Your block Your city The wave

What if your whole group gave just one day?

The equation works for any group. A bowling league. A Fortune 500. A graduating class. Pick your group and watch what happens when you multiply good intentions.

You're exactly who we need

We know — just one day sounds laughably small to you. Good. You've gone well beyond that, and the world is better for it. Now we need your story to get the rest of us off the couch.

The person who hasn't volunteered yet doesn't need a lecture. They need to hear from someone like you — what happened, how it felt, why you went back. A two-minute story shared here could be the nudge a stranger needed for years.

Stories that started with one day

These are the moments that changed someone's direction. They all started exactly where you are.

I signed up to serve one meal at a shelter. That was three years ago. I haven't missed a Saturday since.

I tutored one kid for one afternoon because my friend dragged me. I came back the next week without being asked.
